Meet Bella (aka Duet)…
There is some heartbreak that simply can’t be described, and Bella’s story is one of those.

After we took Bella in we were told her last litter had died. No one knew why or how. After discovering she had TVT we knew the right thing to do was a C-Section to avoid any further pain and stress for Bella.
However it was not meant to be as early hours of the morning Bella gave birth to 4 pups. 2 of which she ate (only half of their bodies lay next to her), 1 was still born, and the other was gasping for breath.
It was clear that these babies were premature and days early, and not ready to be born, their lungs were not completely formed and neither were their bodies.
Dr Khan opened her clinic, Pulse Veterinary Clinic, especially for Bella, and once the c-section was done, she called us with Devastating news.
Bella had another 8 babies in her tummy and all of them were dead.
We knew the chances of all pups being ok was slim, but to receive a call saying they were all gone, literally drained the life from us.

In total 12 dead babies, as her one and only surviving pup also took its last breath, and passed away. The heartbreak is real.

Bella will never have to suffer through losing another litter as she was sterilised. Our heart breaks for her, and we only hope that she finds a little sparkle once she has all healed up.

Beautiful Bella has a long road to recovery, she will be available for adoption in July ’25.
She needs someone kind hearted with lots of love to give. Please come and see her.
