When Juliet arrived at Paw Prints, she was heavily pregnant, and just days later, she gave birth in the safety of the rescue. Meanwhile, Romeo was taken in by another rescue until space opened up for him. When they were finally reunited, their joy was overwhelming. Seeing them back together, tails wagging and eyes shining, brought tears to our eyes. It was clear—they belonged together.
But time passed, and despite our hopes, no one stepped forward to adopt them as a pair. As months turned to almost a year, we made the difficult decision to home them separately, hoping it would give them a better chance at finding their forever families. To our surprise, they thrived apart.
Juliet has now found her home—a place where she is cherished and adored. And now, it’s Romeo’s turn.
Romeo is almost four years old, and he has waited long enough. He is an incredible dog, good with dogs of all ages, even the young and energetic ones. He is gentle, patient, and loving. His days are filled with watching other dogs come and go, always waiting, always hoping. His heart is open, ready to give his love to a family who will finally take him home.
