Meet Koa…

🏄Koa’s story begins in the Welbedacht township, and it didn’t begin kindly. He was found hidden deep in a bush by Stray Paws animal rescue, tied to a short chain with no food, no water, and no way to get free. Someone had also tried to cut his ears with a blade…much like our boy Axel

🏄He had been deliberately hurt, and he had been left alone with it. He needed extra medical treatment, and he took it all with a patience that surprised everyone who cared for him. Koa has every reason to distrust people, yet he doesn’t.

🏄He greets each new face with soft, forgiving eyes and a wagging tail. He leans into a scratch behind the ears, follows his people around with quiet curiosity, and treasures every small kindness, whether it’s a warm blanket, a full bowl, or someone simply sitting beside him. He is gentle to his core, affectionate, and eager to please, and he will make a wonderful companion.
