What a TERRIFIC start to 2026!

So far, we’ve had 4 major events! Our amazing Puppy Pilates, Valentine’s Day Brekkie, A Brown Dog Parade and an Easter Hunt!😊

First off was our Puppy Pilates, which was hosted by the lovely people at Willow Way Manor where our pups got to roam free and show off their ultimate cuteness to all who came! Some of our pups even got to partake in the actual yoga, which was lead by the stunning instructors at Stretch Pilates.😃 We all unanimously agreed, however… not much Pilates was done. 😂 10/10 we must do it again!

Then in early Feb we got to celebrate the day of love…with puppy love!💕 It was a bit of a chilly morning but the amount of people that came was impeccable! It was hosted very kindly by The Pot & Kettle where they endlessly support us. And for that we are so grateful! We played some doggie Bingo, Spun the 1000 Hills wheel, had an Auction, had spot prizes, and got to listen to the amazing Dave Imrie and his tunes! We had a bunch of those who supported us in other ways with vouchers, prizes, raffles and more, with these people being: Tajoma Farm, Beauty Box, Carl de Heer Chairman 1000 hills CTO, 1000 Hills Chef School, The Hacienda, Umgeni Train, Phezulu, Ludwigs, Grassroots, Valley Lodge, Mooshimoo, ProTalent, and Ayoba Bonds.💛 It truly was a morning of love and appreciation.

Our Second to last event was in March and yet again was kindly hosted by Willow Way Manor where we got to show off our absolutely amazing brown dogs! Our teens got to strut their stuff and make new friends …and potentially new family?😍 It was a beautiful event and a lovely morning! We had a couple of visits from “ex-Paw Prints” dogs and people got to meet our current Paw Prints doggies in need of homes!

And our last event…The Easter Hunt!🐰 The rain came down but the spirits were high! With candy on the horizon and plenty of sweet treats and activities it was a full day of fun!!! We had tons to do such as facepaint, puppy cuddles, and of course the actual hunt! We also had wors rolls to eat and lots of easter treats! It was such a delightful event full of laughs and play!    

In amongst it all we did also have a fundraiser event for our gorgeous dog, Sweetie.🐶 Safe to say many of us had a sugar rush by the end of the event but we also had raised enough funds for the first of the two hip surgeries for Sweetie!🥳 

Thank you to those who came, those who supported, those who volunteered and so many others. We can only summarise these last few months as absolutely wonderful. We’ve truly loved the beginning of this year.💗
